Our Story — GPS Pillow Shop

Meet the founders

We're Gay and Ray — a husband-and-wife team in Sacramento, California, with a deep affection for the places that become part of who we are.

Gay spent a long career as an attorney before life offered her a hard, clarifying moment — the kind that reorders everything — and she chose color, craft, and joy. Ray is a scientist and author — Ph.D. in Nutrition Science with an emphasis in Physiological Chemistry — who brings a researcher's precision and a romantic's memory for places. Together we run a small family of creative studios, and this shop is its most personal corner.

Over a lifetime, we all collect things: photographs, postcards, ticket stubs, keepsakes tucked away in drawers. But the memories we return to most often are tied to places. We wanted a way to keep those places close — not hidden in a box, but right out in the open, where everyday life happens.

That is how GPS Pillow Shop began.

The house where a family began.

Our custom coordinate pillows celebrate the exact places people love. You choose the address, landmark, town, or meaningful spot. We turn it into GPS coordinates and pair it with your words, your colors, a hand-painted border if you wish, and a small emblem that helps tell the story.

Every pillow is personalized by you and printed only after you order it. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is pulled from a warehouse shelf. We believe in slow-made, intentional design — it wastes less, and it lets us pour heart into every piece.
